Julia Harte Widdowson is a founding Board Member of African Environmental Film Foundation who is passionate about environmental and wildlife conservation. She first traveled to Kenya in her 20s, which began her long-term friendship with Simon Trevor.

She primarily spends her time at her farm in Millbrook, New York where she raises grass-finished Devon cows. She and her husband, Nigel, are the proprietors of the Red Devon Market Bar and Restaurant, Dutchess County’s first green restaurant serving fresh, local, organic food including grass-fed beef.

Julia also serves on the boards of American Farmland Trust, the International Council of the Musée des Arts Decoratifs, and Scenic Hudson.
